Propellerhead Software has released version 8.2 of Reason. A big feature of the new version is auto-update, a convenience feature that allows Reason to automatically check for and install the most recent software updates. This also allows for much more compact update files — going forward, updates will be as small as 1/10th as big as previous full updates.

User requested features are also included in Reason 8.2, including Revert browsing, more colors in the sequencer, expanded Remote support for Redrum Drum Machine, streamlined sound bank handling, and more.

Reason 8.2 also supports the newly introduced Propellerhead music-making service, with new features and functionality derived from user feedback. Version 8.2 can also connect to the free Figure and Take mobile apps for sharing, collaboration, and remixing with other musicians around the globe.
