The Boss RC-300 is a super-powerful, easy-to-use, and fun looper pedal. You get three separate stereo tracks for looping to your heart’s content. Right out of the box the RC-300 will play all three tracks at the same time or whenever you trigger them, they will play together. For example, if you have track one playing and then you trigger track three, then both tracks will play together. This is fantastic for layering or having different instruments on separate tracks.

A very cool feature of the Boss RC-300 is Single Track Mode. In Single Track Mode, each track plays separately. This is good if you want to have the different sections of your song mapped out across the three tracks. You can have the intro/verse on track one, the chorus on track two, and the bridge on track three.

To get your Boss RC-300 to play in single track mode is very easy:

Step 1: Press the memory edit button.

Step 2: Press the right value button until you get to the single-track page.

Step 3: Turn the memory/value knob to enable single-track mode.
