With the revival of interest in vinyl, many of us have begun accumulating records again. But it’s no exaggeration to say that none of us will ever approach the collection of Brazilian Zero Freitas. The owner of a bus company, Freitas estimates that there are somewhere around 5 million (!) vinyl records in his collection — it takes multiple warehouses to store them all!

Freitas currently has 17 interns cataloging the collection, which he intends to make available as a non-profit archive called “Emporium Musical.”
