Slate Introduces VCC 2.0 & Free Revival

Date:2020/3/7 10:25:07 Hits:

Want to add the sound and feel of a large-format mixing console to your DAW-based studio? Then you need Slate Digital’s Virtual Console Collection, a plug-in package that brought the authentic analog sound of five mixing consoles to your DAW. VCC has become an industry standard, and is used every day in the production of mega-hit records.

Now, Slate has announced Virtual Console Collection 2.0, an updated version that includes an additional, sixth console — an emulation of a famous early-’80s British mixing desk called “Brit 4k E” — as well as a host of new features, such as expanded drive range (up to 18dB), enhanced grouping, . VCC 2.0 consists of two plug-ins, one goes on individual channels and the MIXBUSS goes on your DAW’s master fader. Simply select the console you want and instantly bask in the warm analog-style glow, and revel in the analog depth, vibe, tone, clarity VCC brings to your mixes.

Slate has also introduced a free module for their Virtual Mix Rack, Revival. Called “The best sonic enhancer I’ve ever heard,” Revival is based on two analog-modeled enhancer algorithms: Shimmer, for air, detail, and space; and Thicker for warmth, depth, and fatness. Together, Shimmer and Thicker allow you to put the finishing touches on any track or mix. Best, of all Revival is a free download!
