Akai unveiled a long list of new products at Musikmesse this year. Among the highlights:

APC40 mkII — The latest generation Ableton Performance Controller from Akai, the APC40 mkII has a 5×8 clip launch matrix, eight channel faders, one master fader, and eight device controls, a send button for selecting among all eight send buses, a crossfader, a revised knob layout, and much more!

APC Key 25 — a compact Ableton Performance Controller with a 5×8 clip launch matrix, 25 synth-action mini keys, eight knobs, and more!

APC Mini — an Ableton Performance Controller featuring an 8×8 clip launch matrix, eight assignable faders, a master fader, and yes, more!

MPX16 — a Sample Recorder and Player with 16 velocity-sensitive, backlit trigger pads; a mic input and internal mic; MIDI in and out; filter, tune, envelope, and choke group per pad; CD-quality sampling; a software editor, SD card support, and USB power.

Rhythm Wolf — an 5-voice analog drum and bass synth module with an onboard 32-step sequencer, gate trigger I/O, “Howl” custom distortion and mangling effect, six MPC-style pads, and separate outputs for percussion and bass synth.

MPK Controllers — the new MPK series of controllers feature semi-weighted keys, MPC pads, assignable knobs and faders, updated control layouts, USB-to-MIDI I/O, transport and parameter controls for DAW integration, pitchbend and mod wheels, expression and sustain pedal inputs, and more! 61-, 49-, and 25-key, and 25-mini-key versions are available.
