PreSonus Announces RC 500 Channel Strip

PreSonus has expanded their line of popular preamps/processors with the top-of-the-line RC 500 channel strip. Designed by Robert Creel, the RC 500 combines an ultra-low-distortion, high-gain, solid-state Class A preamplifier with the same custom-designed FET compressor and semi-parametric EQ circuitry found in the highly lauded PreSonus ADL 700 tube channel strip. The result is consistent, transparent, detailed audio, suitable for a wide variety of applications, and reminiscent of classic, vintage solid-state preamp designs.

48V phantom power
polarity invert
20dB pad
12dB/octave highpass filter at 80Hz
relay bypass for the compressor and EQ sections
dual-mode analog VU metering
rear-panel XLR mic and line inputs
front-panel 1/4″ TS instrument input
extended frequency response of 10Hz to 25kHz (±1dB)
