Audio-Technica AT5040 — A-T debuted an entirely new flagship microphone, the AT5040, which features a number of groundbreaking and patented technologies. The new mic is intended to be reference quality, with complete sonic purity paired with outstanding dynamic range, one of the lowest self-noise ratings around, and high output. The AT5040 utilizes four ultra-thin diaphragms that work together for ultimate fidelity.

Aphex 500 Series Modules — Aphex added six new 500 series modules to their lineup, including the J Pre 500 mic preamp (based on the 1788 preamp), EQF 500 parametric EQ, Dual RPA500 solid-state/tube hybrid mic preamp, A Pre 500 mic preamp (based on the 188 preamp), Comp 500 optical compressor, and the EX-BB 500 Aural Exciter/Big Bottom module.

SSL E-Series EQ and Dynamics Modules for 500 Series — the first 500 series modules from SSL include the E-Series EQ, which brings back the classic and sought-after 4-band equalizer section of the SL 4000 E mixing console, and the E-Series Dynamics, which reproduces the tonality of the VCA channel dynamics section of the SL 4000 E console, with a compressor, limiter, and expander/gate from the 611 E-series channel strip.
