New JDK 500 Series

JDK Audio has announced two new 500 Series modules, the V10 mic preamp and the V12 compressor. The V10’s circuit is identical to a single channel of the JDK R20 mic preamp, and the V12’s circuit is identical to a single channel of the JDK R22 compressor (itself a replica of the famed inline compressor on ATI Paragon consoles). The V10 offers 54dB of mic gain and 45dB of instrument gain, a pad, phantom power, and phase invert. The V12 provides JDK’s patented Thrust circuit for maintaining highs when compressing heavily, and includes threshold, ratio, knee, and makeup gain controls.
