BeatBuddy Updates to v1.85, adds Sobriety

Singular Sound has released version 1.85 firmware for their popular BeatBuddy. Several major new features are included, such as an unique Sobriety Function that allows the user to specify just how much adult beverages will affect the song. When “Sober,” the BeatBuddy plays perfectly, as normal. But let the BeatBuddy get “Tipsy,” and the tempo will drift a bit; the farther from sobriety the BeatBuddy gets, the more the performance changes. Fortunately, to restore perfect performance, just set the BeatBuddy to “Sober,” no hangover or other ill effects will result!

Other new features include:

Sleep Mode — puts BeatBuddy to sleep to save power
Visual Metronome While Stopped — for tempo cue before drums start
Complete MIDI control — allows full integration of BeatBuddy with MIDI systems, including MIDI CC control over every function in BeatBuddy.
Firmware version 1.85 is a free upgrade for registered BeatBuddy owners.
