The MS-3 combines two critical items: a built-in multi-effects engine and three loop pedal switcher with 200 presets. With the MS-3, you can run up to six internal effects simultaneously, selected from among 111 onboard effects types, plus there’s a dedicated noise suppressor and a built-in tuner. But Boss recognizes that many players have their favorite stompboxes that they’ll want to integrate with the MS-3’s onboard effects, so there are three loops available for connecting your own pedals. The combination of onboard effects and external pedals is ideal, since it allows for a compact footprint with an incredible amount of power! The MS-3 can also switch amp channels, adjust effects in real time, control MIDI devices, and much more. The free MS-3 Editor/Librarian software allows editing effects, assigning controls, setting tempos, and creating and organizing presets from a computer.
