Universal Audio Apollo 8 offers three levels of next-generation UAD-2 Thunderbolt 2 recording power for your studio. The 18-in/24-out Apollo 8 DUO includes a UAD-2 DUO processor core and four Unison-equipped preamps, which physically reconfigure themselves to emulate the sound of classic analog gear. With its UAD-2 QUAD core, the Apollo 8 QUAD lets you get even more milage out of your UAD powered plug-ins, and the Apollo 8P brings the total number of Unison preamps up to eight. All three Apollo 8 interfaces benefit from cleaner converters as well as the sub-2ms latency and cascading capabilities of the Apollo Expanded line.
