The NT5 is RØDE's premier small-diaphragm heart-shaped condenser microphone, sometimes referred to as a "pencil microphone." For recording acoustic instruments, drums, cymbals and live performances, the compact externally polarized microphone features a 1/2" pole, active J-FET impedance converter with bipolar output buffer. Its rigorous heart-shaped pickup mode It also makes it ideal for use as a dialogue microphone in the room, and can be used for film production with a microphone holder or a boom. To expand the versatility of the NT5, the omnidirectional pole (NT45-O) can be replaced. The NT5 microphone is made of durable nickel plating.
