The new year brings new changes at local radio stations. Here's the breakdown:

* Federated Media has launched a new radio station, Big 92.3 WFWI-FM, with a music-based format. The station will play the greatest hits of four decades, focusing primarily on music from the late '70s and early '80s. "Favorites such as The Eagles, Billy Joel, John Mellencamp, Fleetwood Mac and more will be in heavy rotation, according to a news release.

The station also boasts of "The 2 Minute Promise," meaning a commercial break never will be longer than two minutes.

Mike Ragz & The Big Morning Show will air 6 a.m.-noon weekdays on Big 92.3, hosted by longtime Indiana broadcaster Mike Ragozino, who also is program director. He comes from 750 The Game in Portland, Ore.

WOWO previously broadcast at 92.3-FM but has moved to 107.5-FM. WOWO also can be found at 1190-AM.

* WBYR, 98.9-FM The Bear has a new morning show, Federated Media reports. "The Morning After with John The Mexican" finds John with a new show partner, Heather Rooney, who comes to Fort Wayne from Las Vegas. John and Rooney previously did a morning show together in another market and "jumped at the opportunity" to work together again, according to a Federated Media news release.

Mike Davidson, an Indianapolis native, comes to Fort Wayne from Kokomo to replace John, who has been doing the afternoon show. Davidson will engage listeners with his love for Indiana sports and pop culture as well as his Open Bar, where listeners can discuss the biggest topics of the day.

* Adams Radio Group-Fort Wayne has announced that Intelligent Talk, The Patriot, now can be found on the FM dial at 103.3-FM. It will be simulcasting with WLYV, 1450-AM. The Patriot features conservative talk shows on weekday mornings starting with Bill Bennett's "Morning in America." That show is followed by Mike Gallagher, Dave Ramsey, Michael Savage and Hugh Hewitt.

From 3-9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays the station features the locally produced Rick Hughes Show. Hughes has been playing the hits for 50 years.

* The Bob and Tom Show have a new home in Fort Wayne starting Monday, Adams Radio Group-Fort Wayne announced. The show will air 5-10 a.m. Monday-Friday and 6-10 a.m. Saturdays on 96.3XKE-FM, Fort Wayne's Classic Rock. The show is built around comedy and talk, featuring news, sports and interviews with celebrities. Bob Kevoian, the "Bob" of the show, just retired, but the show will continue on.
