How to Hook Up a GE RF Modulator

Date:2015/8/17 10:01:45 Hits:
A GE RF modulator allows you to connect a video device, such as a DVD player or gaming system, that only uses RCA connections to a TV that only has a RF (also known as coaxial) connection. On TVs with RCA jacks, view the video from the video device using one of the TVs "Line" inputs (for instance "Line 1" or "Video 1"). Because a TV without RCA jacks lacks these types of inputs, the video from the video device using the RF modulator is viewable via channel 3 or 4 on the TV.

Things You'll Need
1.TV
2.Video device
3.Coaxial cable

4.RCA cables (yellow, red and white)

Instructions
1.Connect the yellow, red and white RCA cables from the video out port of the video device to the yellow, red and white RCA video in jacks on the back of the RF modulator.
2.Connect a coaxial cable from the "TO TV" jack on the back of the RF modulator to the "ANT IN" jack on the back of the TV.
3.Switch the "Channel 3/4" to "3" on the back of the RF modulator.
4.Plug in the RF modulator.
5.Turn on the TV and set the channel to "3."
6.Turn on the video device.
